We're setting up for the sale this weekend and it has backed up the blog posting in a terrible way.
My apologies.

The store is really popping! Elissa and the whole merchandising crew have been working overtime to make it the most visually attractive store offering EVER!
This is our Ibex Store within a Store area.... wool never looked so good!
How about The Big Q and the crew of ski merchandisers? (Kenny and Jay!) Kenny did a ton of grunt work with the new slat wall...... although he counted it as a power lifting workout....
Jay is looking forward to the winter.... really... he is....
Come in and check it out as Nordic Fest begins Nov. 7th!

Got Candy?
We at the Arc Shop have a neat idea for the little ghosts and goblins that will be showing up on your doorsteps this evening.
Instead of the normal candy treats we suggest motor tabs http://www.motortabs.com/, Gu and Clif Bloks. http://www.clifbar.com/food/products_shot_bloks/ . The Bloks will give the biggest hit of caffeine.
Imagine how energetic the little urchins will be after devouring a bag of candy and dropping a huge wallop of caffeine!
Imagine the reactions to a typical Halloween prank? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74Omk6ELK5k&feature=related
Imagine being being brought up on child endangerment charges....
Ok, maybe it's not the best of ideas....

You should be finding invitations to Nordic Fest in your mailboxes. The sale flyer will be enclosed. Some of the deals are nothing short of extraordinary.
We may also be including the chance for an additional 5% off on selected items. But you'll have to work for it. Hard.
Details on the extra promotion will be posted as soon as we work out the details.
See you at Nordic Fest..... (It's the first weekend in November!)

Today's review comes from Jeff. It's not gear related.... unless you count great beer as essential equipment. (Doesn't everyone?)
Review of Moe's Tavern in Lee, Ma-
Go Jeff!
"Moe's is located off of Main St. in Lee, Ma. It can be found by asking one of the friendly local denizens for directions to the Post Office. Moe's is located off of the same parking lot.
Josh, the owner, has done a masterful job compiling an impressive list of tweaky beers normally not available at local drinking establishments. The selection is constantly rotating and varies from local micro-brews (Barrington Brewery's ESB is a fan fave) to Belgian/ Canadian ales. (Unibrou's Terrible was ON TAP!) DFH 60 minute seems to be the only beer consistently on tap. Great choice Josh!!!!!!
The staff is both knowledgeable and courteous. They have all achieved '10th level Beer Nerd' status and revel in the chance to talk hops, yeast and Red Sox scores.
The atmosphere? Very cool. Everyone goes to Moe's. The locals are well represented. It is not unusual to witness a guy in stained Carhartts engaged in spirited discussion with a well pressed white collared professional type. The only people not welcome are those who insist on drinking swill water american beer. (No Coors Light at Moe's... never, ever, ever.) Arc Shop staff members are regularly seen huddled together at the corner table over by the window
The food is decent and the sweet potato fries match well with any IPA or Imperial Stout.
Every review should offer a critique. It's hard to do here. Moe's rivals if not exceeds the quality found in other New England Beer Bars such as The Dirty Truth in NoHo or The Moan and Dove in S. Amherst. Josh's commitment and love for craft beers infuses the establishment with a joyful and impassioned ambiance that is hard to find in the local area.
I give Moe's 5/5 Arcadian Pine Trees!"

Boxes are beig carried from the basement to the floor. Display racks that rarely see the light of day emerge from the cold cellar. (Mice! Spiders! Weird mold? Undead moaning?))
It's great to see some sunshine!
Reviews tomorrow!
